The media has been a whirlwind of reports and opinions, and everyone has something to say or post about "the youth." People are constantly trying to tell you what to do, what to say, how to dress, what your music should sound like, who you are. We want to break that cycle. Hoodies in the Hood: Youth Power, Media Freedom focuses on both education and creation -- flipping the script about who we are and explore ways to take control of our own images and share our own stories. Sessions will be designed to empower anyone young in mind, body, or soul to make their own media, claim public space, and represent.
